Two things:
First, that's not a chicken bone, and,
Second, bird bones don't splinter until you
cook them. Dogs eat chickens
all the time, and wild dogs eat all kinds of birds. Whenever I have whole
chickens or turkeys, I always give my dog the necks, and it doesn't hurt her at
all. Dozens of them over the years. It's like Heaven to them.

dogs also eat rabbits bones. ive seen a dog bury a rabbit head, come back later
and dig it up and start eating on it.

1. looked like a turkey leg to me. which is why i said chicken/turkey
2. didnt look raw to me. thought that was BBQ sauce. Now that i look again i
guess that can be raw and dried blood
