Beach front property on the Gulf of Mexico is nice but a very dumb idea unless
you can afford to lose everything.
Something that really irritates me is when someone has the money to buy that
really expensive property, build a really big, expensive house on it, and calls
the cops every time someone even walks along the beach in front of it. Then,
when it gets damaged by a storm, or just plain old every day beach erosion, they
want the state to do something about it. Happens pretty often around here.

hmmm, yes... but this sort of thing happens quite often in other types
(non-beach) of places as well
