Hmmm .... an unusual perspective Duane. The question that begs to be asked from your above espousals is that IF you had no religion to believe in it would seem you could also not possibly have hope or purpose in your life ????

If this is true I honestly feel great sorrow for you, as without it (religion) you could not seemingly be a whole or complete person, at least by your own statements.

I feel quite whole, complete and purposeful without religion in my life. I don't require any form of external validation to feel these things. My life is quite full and for the most part content without the meetings,tithings or other associations required in following some imaginary characters philosophical diatribe.

I suppose it works for you though, and that's cool
