glad i filled up last night at 3.15. was holding out hoping it would drop

I'm an American living in France and here gas is 1.30 euros/litre.
so that makes (3,79litres/gallon), (1.58 dollars/euro)
= 7.78 dollars / gallon !!!

but

I don't drive the pig car I drove in the US,
I drive a Ford Mondeo build in Europe, and it gets over 40 miles per gallon!
AND it drive MUCH better than any car I had in the US.

sorry to hear that euros have always had high prices but

1. we SHOULD have lower prices. We dont only import oil but produce it as well. We also refine our own and not rely on importing actual gasoline.

2. I distance i drive to work would drive clear across half the countries in Europe. Yea you have to pay a lot but you arent dring that much either. Half of you arent even bigger than Florida for a country. (gross exaggeration no jutsu)

You people know why gas prices are so high, you just don't want to admit it. Gas prices are set according to what the market will bear. This means the prices are are only as high as we will pay. If we will stop driving our SUVs and hummers and stop driving when we really don't need to the prices will adjust. We need to converse fuel like it is running out and the CEOs will feel it. They think they have us over a barrel and they can do what they want. We need to show them they don't.
