I've seen a wedge tailed eagle take a dingo pup but rarely will birds take on
healthy land animals. It's too risky because birds are so fragile.

i think you missed the point here... the cat isnt being taken is trying to take
the bird out

I didn't miss the point moron, I actual read the title. Try it some time.
I wouldn't take on an eagle even thoug you can break a birds wing with the flick
of a finger. They don't like taking the risk because one broken bone could mean
they can't hunt then they die.
