Why? They could go very fast in a straight line but could NOT turn or stop.
Sort of like a buckboard wagon. Very much like an unguided missle...just point
and shoot.
I used to have a '69 GTO with two four barrels...wickedly fast but a pathetic
car overall.
Much prefer modern machinery that can flat scoot, turn, brake.....dars have come
a LONG way since these primitive agrarian beasts.

true, i'm starting to lean that way myself. i'm getting into roadracing and
it's alot harder than going straight

and yes handling is VERY important. The lotus elise is just shy of god in that
aspect
