Just so everyone knows, this photo was taken in the spring of 2000 in Houghton,
MI by me. I drove by and thought I saw something strange, backed my car up and
noticed the STOP was spelled wrong. I happened to have a polaroid camera that I
used for work (notice the square size of the picture) and I took the picture.
The workers were puzzled why I stopped to take a picture of their new paint job.
Laughing I said "Because it's spelled wrong" They both looked down
and said Oh S&^T. One of the workers wanted to know what I was going to do
with the picture, and I said that I just wanted it and he started chasing me
back to my car and I took off, and promptly scanned it and emailed it to the
city manager who was a friend and told him to pay his workers better. I just
think it's great to see the picture on the web after I only emailed it once.
