Success always comes after a lot of painful development frustrations and Dysons
recent DNF at Monterrey [
www.alms.com] is indicative of such a conquest in the
pursuit of perfection of their Direct Injection engine technology.
The 1st time I heard of DI technology I thought "Oh Hell Yeah!" but
knew there were going to be some interesting technical hurdles to overcome. With
the eventual side benefits of improved mileage, engine performance and HP
production this technology def is a win-win for the automotive world so my hat
goes off to Dyson Racing in their efforts
Now if someone would similarly take on the valveless technology in development
by Coates International [
www.coatesengine.com] I read about a full 10 yrs ago the peak HP ratings of
engines could find an even higher ceiling than ever thought possible! I'm sure
many a gear head has wished to hell they could remove all the parasitic HP drag,
heat and friction caused by the valve train ... I know I sure have
