Good link pulse. But I thought the hoax "flyer" was a bit funny.
'cause if you did run in the station, you may be persued, tackled, and shot in
the head point blank. MARSHAL LAW IS ALLMOST IN EFFECT (damn, I really hope
not). IF BUSH HAS HIS WAY AND ALL HIS APOINTED BUDDYS, AND BUDDYS THEY LATER
APOINT ARE IN POWER IN THE U.S. EVEN AFTER BUSH IS GONE, IT'S KINDA HEADED THAT
DIRECTION.
St_George Report This Comment Date: August 04, 2005 01:54PM
If only that were all true, ToucanSam. So - one person was shot 'cos he didn't
stop when armed police told him too... whose fault would that be, then?
I got on the Tube this morning - the Piccadily line was open for the first time
since the 7th of last month. Sure, there was a significant police presence- but
it aint exactly martial law, fer frigs sake. As for the rest of your post...
erm, I don't really understand the point you're trying to make. But, hey - if
you think Bush is an asshole, then I'm right with you on that one!
Anonymous Report This Comment Date: August 04, 2005 02:06PM
I agree, Bush is an asshole and he will declare marshall law if his brother
doesn't win the next election.
ToucanSam Report This Comment Date: August 04, 2005 02:39PM
Yeah, that guy that did run from police AND SHOULDNT HAVE. Obviously. Police
are in charge as soon as they are present, get to make decsions on the fly,
there judgment. It will all get settled LATER in court. I'm definatly not
condiming those officers, in the same situation I'd have done the same. Police
are there for a reason. But I truly belive Bush has quit a few hidden agendas,
mostly to make money. Aparently money makes the earth spin. And yes Bush is an
ass.
John_Bull Report This Comment Date: August 04, 2005 04:30PM
Who is this Marshal, whose law you're talking about? .....or do you mean
=martial= law? I think we're still a long way from that, even though an
increasing number of policemen now need to carry firearms.
Essex_Guy Report This Comment Date: August 04, 2005 05:42PM
Witnesses say no police warning and guys chasing looked like robbers or
terrorists.
So when you see a casually dressed guy waving a pistol in your direction, you
stand still? No way.. You run like hell to make yourself a moving target. Head
for a busy place where other people are. A subway station could be good.
This poor guy made a sudden life or death decision. The secret police held him
down then pumped eight 9mm bullets into him. Trust me.. I know.
ToucanSam Report This Comment Date: August 04, 2005 10:21PM
John_bull, thanks (lol) my spelling is terriable. Essex_guy, how do you know?
Where you there? If you were, were you collected enough to take such an
detalied account of the situation? I've heard diffrent storys, and beleive me,
NONE of them are 100% beleivable. I wasn't there. Not disregarding your story,
but in grade school did you ever play that game where one person said a phrase
to another, and then they said it to another, around the circle till it came
back around. You could imagine, it gets pretty twisted around.
Essex_Guy Report This Comment Date: August 04, 2005 11:07PM
All this information is publicly available. The general public just don't seem
to see it. People say, "He was challenged by armed police and ran
away." They assume the guy knew they were armed police. Why??? The british
police aren't used to using guns in this way. They've made a terrible error.
They are only used to shooting at turning targets on the range at Lippets Hill.
They have no experience of shooting people. (Apart from each other
accidentally.) Unless a very clever cover-up is maintained, the story will come
out as I say.
Anonymous Report This Comment Date: August 04, 2005 11:14PM
So some poor guy freaks out (WTF is he wearing a heavy coat in the middle of
the summer???), runs from the police who then think that there is a reason that
the guy is running, catch him and EXACTLY FOLLOW standard procedure and pump
bullets into his head to stop him from self-detonating killing police and
innocent bystanders. Tragic.
So....somehow, all of you microbrains blame George Bush? What a bunch of losers.
Everything bad that happens in the WORLD is George Bush's fault? Like blaming
Bush is going to help you people find a job because you obviously don't have one
now.
Essex_Guy33248 Report This Comment Date: August 04, 2005 11:34PM
There you go. Perfect example. "Wearing a heavy coat"; WRONG, he was
wearing a light denim jacket. "Runs from the police"; WRONG, he ran
from armed assailants who looked at best like criminals and NEVER used the word
'police'. If it's ok to do it to him, how about to your loved ones?

Essex_Guy33248@33248
Please post picture of "light denim jacket" he was wearing. I have
not read one thing stating that he was wearing such a garment. Not saying that
you are not right....just asking for evidence. Fair enough.
Please document that the undercover officers made NO attempt to identify
themselves. I have not read one thing that corroborates that allegation. Fair
enough.
You may be totally correct. Just provide links to your documentation.
Again, this was a tragic event and one not to make light of.
The officers had to make a split-second decision, and they did. If you are
better than they are, then you need to step up and apply for their job,
otherwise, you have no grounds to criticize them for their actions in a very
highly charged and tense situation.....caused entirely by Muslims, do not
forget.
And for those who want to blame Bush for all the Muslim terrorism in the world,
first you need to explain why when that pussycat Bill Clinton was in office,
offering virtually no resistance to Muslim terrorism, the Muslim "religion
of peace" sickos bombed the Khobar Barracks in Saudia Arabia, bombed the
USS Cole, bombed not one but two US Embassies in Africa, bombed the World Trade
Center in New York and were well into their flying lessons for 9/11.
It would not matter if Donald Duck was president of the United States, Muslims
would be senselessly murdering people all over the world. That is what they are
and that is what they do. Some religion.

Essex_guy. You still didn't say if you saw the incident in person. But with
all the diffrent accounts of what happened, obviously the truth has been clouded
or hidden someway.
And Anonymous@6491, It's not only Bush's fault, he's only a small part. It's
an American problem gone world wide, and the failure to resist human nature.
We're all animals, and to blame JUST Muslims is really showing your ignorance.
It's all humans (as a general whole) that they don't want to die, so they make
up "gods". To have an after life (please!) And quit a bit if this is
just religions fighting other religions for some stupid made up god or ownership
of "religious" grounds(or is it oil?).

I didn't see the incident. I know about the procedures. I know mistakes can be
made when we get all hyped up and have pre-conceived ideas of bombers or armed
suspects.
This operation went wrong much earlier. If the suspect was such a dangerous
bomber, why was he followed and allowed first to travel to the tube station on
the crowded bus?
I'm not just wishing to criticise the police here. My main concern is the way
the public are fed mis-information.
It's a pity I can't spend more time on this, but it'll all come out
eventually.

Hahaha what did I start? It's nice to see some honest debating going on here
though. I posted this image because.. well.. it's to make you think.
Look, the police had a decision to make, and right or wrong they made it. I
couldn't have, and that's why I'm not a cop. I too have heard the denim jacket
story, and supposedly this guy was followed from a "known" address
which was under surveillance at the time. He looked nothing like a middle
eastern, he wasn't killed for looking like an arab - he was Brazilian.
Although this particular event is a tragedy, what would the nay sayer comments
be if he was found to have a bag full of explosives? Would they still have done
the wrong thing acting on instinct?
Food for thought.
