Interesting ... as a native here I've never seen a Frito Pie marketed as a
"Texas Frito Pie", bet fossil haddn either. Just a vendor tryin to
sell some damned yankees "a taste of Texas" is my guess.
Food/drink vendors make a killin at professional sporting events, always have,
always will. What is indeed ludicrous though is that $6 hot dog is nothin but a
bun and a (god knows WTF is actually in it) weenie. And ... that same $10 would
get you a whole 12 pack of 12oz. brewskies less than 2 miles from the stadium
.... of course you can't bring 'em in with ya, so.
$7 for a 32oz/liter cup of Coke? Then of course the ever popular $5 bottle of
water that's actually nothin more than filtered (at best) tap water just like
what comes outta the public water coolers or as overheard in the moovies ....
"Water? Like out the toilet?"

Don't forget though the vendor charging $10 for a beer is being charged 90% of
that in rent for the space to sell it..
