Ive been in a chicken barn just like the one in the pic...
I thought the smell was awful, but the chickens really didn't seem to mind it...

If you were in a room with the smell of excrement all around you for long
enough you would get used to it as well.
They are probably against the conditions the eggs are produced in more than the
eggs themselves.

Are chickens even aware? is it messurable at all? really I am asking this
question. I have been around turkeys and chickens and aside from an occasional
rooster with personality and a bad one at that, I really found "no one to
be home" Just an obsevation.
I don't need to know what a "selfish prick" I am for asking a
legitamate question either. Thank you very much.
