i tell ya kim, i'm gettin' too damn old for this heat shit. i remember when we
used to go to Texoma for a weekend camping trip in 100 + heat and never really
bothered us. i played golf the other day and was dying, sweating like a pig,
drank all 1 gallon of my water i had and no telling how many cups from the
coolers. i kept picturing this place in my head.
i almost jumped in the lake on 13.

I hear ya buddy ! Even for a native it seems like it gets harder and harder
every summer to deal with this shit. You oughta try workin in a sheet metal
buildin in this stuff !!! Last summer it topped out at about 130 degrees one day
in the back of the shop
Then again, like Dorothy said "There's no place like home .... there's no
place like home"

when i was little we moved to Japan, then paris, then.....when we finally came
home (Dallas) i realized how much i love Texas, and every time i go somewhere i
never feel at home till i get to big D.
