Many people associate Metal with Satanism, but it's just not that way
anymore. Not as much anyway. More Christian Metal bands are popping up from what
I've been reading in metal news, and Demon Hunter has hit BIG with metalheads.
Even if you're not Christian, the lyrics send a good message. Check out a few of
their music videos. The lyrics are hard to understand, so under each youtube

Never cared much for the metal/thrash realm of music. Don't like any music
that makes me wanna bang my head against shit .... and metal does just that for
me
I think Christian bands like Puddle Of Mud are far easier to listen to .... if
their kind of message is your thing.
