The nominations for this years prize were closed only twelve days after inauguration day and Obama did almost nothing in those twelve days, so I guess he won for what he said he was going to do. Interesting

Not that the NPP meant anything before, however it had definitely decreased in value to nearly the stoop that the democratic process took this year.

I don't normally get involved in commenting on American politics, but I have to say that giving Obama the NPP is a joke, even from us on the outside of the USA. It smacks of the decision being made on political, monetary or racial grounds, or possibly a mixture of all 3. To hear now that the nominations closed 12 days after he took office just reinforces that.

Yes everyone should be concerned especially with our economy. If our economy fails completely it would have a detrimental effect on the rest of the world as well. 12 trillion dollars and spending.

Spend money at an uprecedented rate, expand government to a larger size then it's ever been before, cut our defense budget to dangerously low levels and cancel programs like the F-22 that loses thousands of jobs and income to American businesses, possibly leaving us vulnerable in the future. Create the highest levels of unemployment in years and a defecit so huge we can never possibly get out from under it. All this with even more planned and little to nothing of what he promised he would do other than punish the successful with excessive taxes making sure they don't create more jobs.

Maybe he got the prize because the dems are doing almost everything they can to destroy America. No need for the terrorists and hostile nations to attack or try to otherwise destroy the US when we are doing it ourselves. That might help bring about peace....right?

Please re-read my post! For those who still don't get it, I didn't say I wasn't worried or concerned by what is going on in the US economy, I said I don't normally get involved in commenting on it.

Kruzchev told us years ago how the US would fall and we're sure headed down exactly the path he outlined ... with Big O skipping merrily along leading the way

If any of ya missed it Machi posted a great link to a BBC special on how the undermining of our society/government and economy all works towards the end goal and though it was made many years back it is almost to the letter what's happening now.

A big thanks again to all the dimwits that helped elect this bastard to the office of POTUS. You played your part in helping this all get started and now he's doing his to make sure it ends exactly as planned

BTW, with the dollar on its way into oblivion keep your eyes and ears open for news of the next currency we'll be using after it's completely devalued

And .... I still have that nice crispy $50 bill that says the final Congressional vote on the healthcare plan will be overshadowed by some (contrived or otherwise) disaster to encourage folks to "look over here now, not over there" while they slip it through the voting process. I haven't heard from any takers but the offer still stands, so .... who wants in on some of this Conservative Americans cash

Well Odamna is doing his Muslim heritage proud. He will have his 72 virgins in his afterlife.

The new currency will be trade goods in a barter system after the collapse. Money will be worth nothing whatsoever.
