This is completely ridiculous. What the hell do you need a silencer on an automatic handgun for? If someone was invading my home I'd WANT to wake the neighbors up too.

Fossil, I am not trying to be obnoxious or anything but I am unclear of what changed. In the years past your posts were pretty much thoughtful and intelligent but lately you seem to be more for the comedy value rather than an honest comment on the subjects here. I have always looked forward to yours and Mr. Kim's comments on this board even though we didn't always agree on everything I looked forward to the discussions.

Looks like the safety is off on the tactical as well. That is the way I always carry mine at all times because I never own one that doesn't have a hammer. But I would like to know how someone can legally buy silencers, last I heard they were illegal in the US.

According to the manual it is because the hammer is in the un-cocked position and the weapon is designed to prevent the safety from being on in that state. I have no idea why it is designed that way though.

suppressors / silencers are legal in several states, not here, but Louisiana it's cool along with damn near everything else.

In the uncocked position there is really no need for the safety to be on which is why I never use my safety.
