If they came wanderin up spotlightin by my place, which is almost 1/4 mile off
the road they'd do well to have a better excuse than that handy if I asked.

We get shoplifters running through here frequently. Usually I am up when it
happens and hear it on my scanner then go outside and watch for him and tell the
cops which way he went. If he runs close enough to me I will hold him at gun
point and notify the cops I have him.

The cops around here know me and know I am an ex-cop so they usually check in
with me when they get a runner since I have security cameras around. Not only
is Wal-Mart across the street but the Elks club is right behind the house and
Lowes right behind them. (sarcasm font)

I wasn't me this time it was my wife who forgot. I forgot to ask the cop
exactly who has to have their belts fastened, just the driver or everyone in the
front or everyone in the vehicle? I don't drive anymore and I feel I shouldn't
have to wear one.

That doesn't really mean anything, it depends on what you said that they agree
with and it also depends on how intelligent they are. I have even agreed with
you about a couple of things you've said here, they just weren't stupid things.
Sometimes you make some sense but it seems to me that most things you say don't,
and I say something about it because they are so stupid, it surprises me that
very few people here tell you that you're being stupid. I feel inclined to say
something about it because somebody has to say something about it, it's just too
stupid not to. Maybe the rest of the regulars are just being nice. Maybe they
just don't want to bother about it. Just because they don't say anything doesn't
mean they agree with you either.

What you call stupid may just be from your point of view or derived from your
past. What I tend to say is based on my point of view and my past of over 60
years. Some of what I say is designed to get a rise out of people, like alien
space crafts are going to land on White House lawn or the government is watching
through our TVs. When I talk about our rights it is to show the slippery slope
we are already on and if we don't stop our slide we will hit bottom without any
rights whatsoever. This is why your comments don't make me angry or bother me
in any way. I probably only have 20 or 30 years left on this world so getting
angry is not productive in the time I have left.

I don't think you understand that it is not my intent to get a rise or a
