We used to have ferrets, way back in the late 70s. We had 2 like that one, and
2 albinos. We tried to keep the males and females seperated but they got
together somehow and we went from 4 to 14 ferrets and had to sell 10 babies. We
sold them all not long after that.
From what I remember ( I was just a kid ), They were stinky, hyperactive and
destructive, they loved to bite, especially that thin skin between your thiumb
and pointing finger and they were always hiding or running away. We had litter
boxes for them but they would usually go hide under the couch and leave us a
little something special there where it was hard to get to.
If you neuter them they are a lot better behaved and not so stinky but they
still aren't likely to act like a cat and really don't make the best pets. The
coolest thing I remember about them is one of them loved to drink beer and would
stagger around the living room drunk.
