My first car was a ratted out '66 coupe that I worked all summer to buy. It was total crap, from a collector standpoint, but almost 30 years later it's still the most fun car I ever owned. 3-speed manual, relatively light, and over-powered. With decent tires it handled great. it was so simple, even a monkey like me could fix nearly anything on it with basic tools and a Chilton's manual.

I wish I still had it.
