Come on now, Fossil made a common mistake.

I mean with Mexico and China being so close to each other and their writing over there can look an awful lot alike to most Westerners.

I was surprised you could even tell the difference well enough to know it was actually in Chinese

The simpler characters towards the very bottom are Japanese. I think the place is in one of the larger cities south of Tokyo. Osaka or Kobe?

For that matter, I see Korean language characters also. Maybe the train tracks are a good clue, looks like a large inter-city commuter hub.
