I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the great contributions of the Black community to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature make them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real estate values are fueled by the mix of African Americans into an area due to their caring and respectful nature of these communities, an example of all they have achieved through their enthusiasm for self improvement by hard work and a self-reliant can-do nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation.

Beast the black man has done nothing to have to be kept down, they don't try to actually do nothing for themselves, black mayor/administration..... Presidency and all the black man gets is fed more of the same useless bullshit, because if all of those higher ups don't have some poor victims to feed a bunch of crap they don't have a political/social market.

The black man is the only one that keeps themselves down, the first thing to change is that whole poor me attitude, it is a quick fix but never helps anyone long term.

You know what? I flew in from America yesterday. I met dozens of blacks while I was there, most of them seemed quite decent.

On the other hand, I met some truly obnoxious white people.

What's the deal? I'm sure from reading the messages here I've learned blacks are the devil and whites are pure saints?

The whole argument is fucking stupid. There's cunts in every race, from every religion, from every conteinent; and statistics can be used to prove and disprove of literally any argument you care to make.

My guess is your meet n greet didn encompass any of the shit hole end of the spectrum where blacks are predominantly the ones so well versed in making the headlines, nor did you likely find yourself among the run of the mill white folks either.

Perspective has a lot to do with anyones perceptions, which is only natural.

As for stats being manipulated, that's a hard sell when a societal segment bordering on 14% accrues a staggering 60+% of violent crimes and 37% of all abortions performed. If you'd care to address how those stats are manipulative .... I'm all ears

I'm not disputing the stats, but the cause of them. In the nature vs nurture debate, I'm firmly on the side of nurture.. and so, funnily enough, when you treat a segment of society like garbage for 400 years, they turn out crap. It doesn't shock me in the slightest.

To then see idiots spitting out (and I can't remember what image this was on) things like "Bill Cosby was great, so what's wrong with the rest of them"; well, what a stupid argument. It's all about opportunities, and I do firmly believe that blacks (and Latinos, Hispanics and any other non-white ethnicity) have significantly less opportunity to break from the mold in a country like the United States than the whites. They have little opportunity to improve, and have been kept down for so long.

I'm not interested in getting into a debate on the subject; that's simply my view from the outside. I could say the same about Aborigines in Australia, too. As a race, they've been poorly treated ever since the English rocked up and started hunting them for sport. From there, they were forced from their homes, rounded up in colonies and left basically to die. I don't blame them for being a bit bitter about their history.

But yeah, as I said, newsflash: you treat people like shit, they turn out shit. Sports and weather at 11.

As far as my US trip, no you're right; I was only in California, and I fully understand there's differences between there & the rest of the US. I've been to the US probably a dozen times, typically used to spend time in the midwest (Illinois primarily) but this trip was a fly in meet&greet primarily around San Jose.

How much more opportunity are blacks supposed to be given? They already go to the same schools whites go to and are given preferential treatment in job interviews and hires. They are even given special treatment in food stamps and welfare where whites find it almost impossible to get. Just how much more do they want?

I would have to because of Affirmative Action I would be required to hire the black. In the past I have been beaten out for many jobs simply because they hired blacks with less experience because they had to. It may or may not be like that in other states but here in Arkansas less qualified blacks are hired over more qualified whites. Also blacks are sitting in the same classrooms as whites and are given the same lessen plans as whites but it seems more blacks are quitting school before graduating than whites are. Should we just give them all degrees without the work or give them jobs and a paycheck even if they don't show up to do the job?

Personally I would not but I would be breaking the law. They are working in just about all types of jobs around here which indicates to me that if they are willing to work there are jobs available for them. It appears they would rather take the easy road with handouts or crime.
