and I'm happy to see it go,
I can't help but sit in this chair and think,
this is far too plausible...

An age of the world fades into dusk,
Its shadow lingers, brittle husk.
I'm glad to see it lose its glow,
Yet in this chair, I feel and know—
This ending, far too close to true,
A whisper that the soul once knew.
