You know you're fat when the person sitting next to you is you.

How come the legs on the fat chairs look thinner than the legs on the skinny
chairs?

Aluminum Vs. Steel?

I had an American friend in high school who told me that couples at the movies
would race to get te makeout chair. It was actually two chairs but it had no
armrest, making canoodling all the more fun. When I asked why they had a makeout
chair in the movies, he told me it was the "fat chair" and they had to
have at least one by law.

And there are jackalopes in Wyoming. It's bullshit `Berto. There are no
provisions in the ADA regarding obese people.

berto is right...or was anyway...living in Minnesota in my teen years there was
always a fat seat in the theaters, as required by law...

It must be a state law then, ADA makes no such provisions that I can find and I
just read the seating requirements in it. I've never seen such seating in any
west coast theaters. Considering the epidemic of obesity in this country it is
probably a good idea. If some one finds a law stating that requirement it would
be interesting to see and learn the background.

I think he was from north or south Carolina, can't be sure.
But this was in the 80's.
Now disabled zones are common, which is a good thing for people stuck in
wheelchairs and their carers. But to qualify as disabled in Australia you just
need to be a fat fuck with a doctors certificate and you get a parking permit
and a pension.
Looks like Homer was right all along.
