I'm still undecided, not between Romney and Obama, Obama needs to take a hike, but between Romney and the person the republicans were too stupid to get behind, Ron Paul. Worried that a write in for Paul could assist Obama in getting 4 more years but I'm leaning heavily toward the write in if only in the hope that though he likely will not win he may get enough votes to wake people up to the fact that the two party control needs to be broken - it's little better than the dictatorships which have "elections" with only one candidate to vote for; the same power brokers are working the levers.

A write in vote will not tell anyone anything except there were people who threw their votes away. If a write in vote causes Odamna to win then whoever writes in their vote must actually want Odamna to win. Thank you for 4 more years of this BS.

i think the fix is in for Rombama this time because otherwise Obamney wouldn't be buying a $23,000,000 house in Hawaii. there's no way in hell he could commute back and forth.

Our system is not perfect, but to reelect someone and try the same failed system for 4 more years is just crazy. Romney might not be very successful but we can't afford to be driven into debt even further by the lunatic in charge. We know what Odamna will do for the next four years so let's try someone different for a while.

That's a dangerous attitude. You think sticking with the same will cause problems so you'd rather go with something completely untested & unknown?

So effectively you want to go double or nothing..?

I dunno, in uncertain times I'd rather stick with what I know rather than betting the house. I'm not talking specifically about the presidential race (for which honestly I don't care about) but life in general I'd rather stick with what I know.

Obama's programs are definitely dangerous and will adversely affect our econony for years to come. I'd rather get rid of a certain problem and try something else that has a good chance of improving the situation.

Romney can't fix it either. He'll probably just make it worse. I kinda hope he gets elected just to prove it. Maybe people will start to wake up but I have doubts about that because they are just too stupid to.

Well yes I do not want a black man in the white house but I have seen the things he screwed up and I really don't think Romney can do any worse. If we have a dog that bites children every day, should we keep him because we know what to expect? If we go to a restaurant and get food poison every time we eat there, should we keep eating there? something knew is always an unknown but that is not a reason to not try it. I really don't think anyone can screw up this country any worse than it already is. If Odamna gets elected again then we will all pay for it over and over again.

Or would you replace it with a lion and hope that works out better?

It's still a crap example. I'd say why replace the dog with anything, just shoot the dog and find something new to do. And honestly the American two party system needs exactly that.

Don't get me wrong, we fundamentally have a 2 party system here too (with a 3rd party growing in popularity which I wish would fuck off too), but the 2 party system is badly flawed.

To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job. - Douglas Adams

We don't know Romney will be worse but we do know what to expect from Odamna in the next 4 years. I agree the 2 party system is flawed but it can't be changed by a handful of people and shouldn't be changed during the election. Maybe instead of just saying it is flawed, suggestions should be brought forward for what should replace it and how the change can be implemented.

Maybe everyone who said, "I'd vote for Ron Paul but he'll never win," should step up and vote for him. He still probably wouldn't win and, yes, it may just syphon off enough Romney votes to give Obama the election, but I think the numbers would be substantial enough to wake people up to the fact that it's possible for someone other than the two superfunded parties to win. It's all about power and $.
