I don't care Saddam needed to be taken out anyway. But I thought according to the left it was all for oil, where is my freeking oil?..If we would have known that gas was going to be as high as the Europeans we should have let France steal their soap and been done with it..

Saddam didn't need to be taken out. He stabilized the region. Keep watching an follow how unstable Iraq and Iran gets. Just like Israel and Palestine.

You also need to get the History of Saddam correct. The US instructed Saddam to keep control by killing some shia and let the mythic tales of torture that the US would tell be his army.

Oil prices in the US have nothing to do with Iraqs oil supply. The wall street speculation due to the war is driving the price through the roof.

Ha ha! the war IS about oil.. it's about how much the corporations can use the war to soak up money from your pockets...

"I don't care Saddam needed to be taken out anyway."
Yeah, and so do many other dictators, so why doesn't the US go after them? Say, Musharraf, or Kim Jong Il, or African dictators, or any of the neo-Stalinist cretins running central asian countries.. or.. the list goes on.

You can't say "oh, they need to be taken out, so a war costing 10's of thousands (if not 100's) of lives is worth bringing a dictator to trial."

No, there are deeper reasons. You just aren't thinking of them. Of you would rather not think.

John, you are almost the most stupid person on the planet! If the war is about OIL. Then why is it so FUCKING EXPENSIVE? It was cheaper in the "Carter years" even. I wish that it was for oil.....that way each Insurgent killed might be a discount. Go FUCK Yourself you European CUNT! Where do you live! Probably in Europe somwhere!

Oil is expensive because oil speculators on Wall Street have driven the price up thinking that Iraq is going to be a failure and oil supplies will go down.

You better get to know those Iraqi Freedom Fighters. We will be fighting side by side with them in the years to come to fight Iran and Iraqi shia. Iran is going have their clerics that lead Iraqi shia push for southern iraq to be annexed to Iran. That means Iran will be a super power overnight.
