Bergen rocks. It's right at the foot of a mountain, Mount Fløyen, which is a national park, accessible by "funicular" railcars that go up the side. Cold, cold water, and warm, warm people.

thanks, but can you believe i´ve never been there? sad, I know cos it´s only a few hours drive from where I live accross to the other side of Norway. It´s on my list for this summer.
