hi i live in south africa i just got one three weeks ago. It is a huge responsibility. they need a lot of emotional support from the owner. they are verry fussy and bite like you wont ever imagine. i could not belive how hard this little creature bites. they are gummivores and bite thru bark to get to the gum in the trees. they are adorable and believe me i have thought many times of returning it but it breaks my heart to think of it. I wish that most of you would realise the hard work and emotional energy it takes from you. they need a lot of your time. i love him to bits please do not remove their claws, canines or neutre them and think they will not be aggresive or ease the biting. i have done research and this is what some ppl do. they are like premature little babies they are prone to disease. i do agree they are gorgeous. mines only 10wks i got him when he was 6wks. think long and hard. are you prepared to feed a SCREAMING baby monkey in the early hours of the morning around the clock every 2 hrs. His whole world revovles around you. he will depend on YOU alone only you. They usually take to 1 owner. they are very AGGRESIVe and tempromental. SPLIT personalities you could say. one minute he is all cute the next minute he bites you that you bleed like youv just grated your finger. THINK BEFORE YOU PURCHASE its like having a baby.
