Why then is it we respect religious leaders vows of poverty? Is not the glorification of one self regarded as base in all societies at some point of excess? I think what people are responding to is excess. Why a Boing 707? Why keep it at your home? I don't think it is Mr. Travolta's wealth that bothers those who posted here, I think it is showing off, bragging about one's excess. These photos were allowed to be taken by Mr. Travolta. They include one taken from inside his home. Clearly he allowed that. Why? What is his point? Aside from boastfully showing off his wealth and attempting to glorify himself I can see none.
