sounds like hogwash to me and i'm not for bush or kerry....the only bush i like is just south of a woman's mason-dixon line. Hurricanes have been pummeling the east coast for as long as its been america and even longer....ask the people in the surrounding counties that voted for gore if they liked what they got....probably not. If you knew anything about hurricanes the eye can be 10's of miles wide and damage occurs more on the right hand side of the storm still causing winds in excess of 75 mph in the counties you listed. In the case of both of these storms i think it was in excess of 110 mph if i remember correctly. Hurricanes are usually 100's of miles wide ...not like a tornado, and yes, i know it spins off tornados, but the majority of deaths occur during the clean-up due to accidents and downed powerlines. Data and statistics can be manipulated to make people think what ever the media wants you to think. Don't be a lemming...think for yourself.
