You are still talking about a modified car vs. a stock car. I have also participated in scca/slalom type courses. I had a modified Golf GTI that would beat a stock Acura NSX anyday, and there was a modified Mazda Miata that would kick all of our asses day in and day out. I still don't know what you are trying to convince me of. These are the best cars, short of a BMW M5, for comfort, performance, and safety. If you want all of this in a nice package you have to pay for it. I can't think of any car in this price range that i would like to drive everyday.
