I use campy components myself because I ride a classic Italian steel frame racing bike, I cant stand aluminum and carbon is a bit expensive still. Shimano makes some nice stuff though. I believe they are the components of choice for the Discovery team and their line of super bikes, that cost as much as some Hyundai's.
