I think the moderators/owner's didn't have a choice. But I think the nature of their experiment defies boundries. I'm OK with it, but I don't think it's necessary. It's people with infantile senses of self-importance trying to foist their ideas about right and wrong on a (still, and only marginally) free (thanks to BUTTFUCKS like them) society. If you don't like it lighten the server load and surf someplace else, I say.
