Looks to be a Fletcher class destroyer. Armed with five 5" (127 mm) dual-purpose guns, torpedo tubes, depth charges, and light anti-aircraft cannon. Fletcher class destroyers were the largest class of destroyers ever built by any navy. They were present in many of the surface battles fought in the Pacific theatre of operations.
