i believe that if the o.k. to excavate is ever given, that Atlantis or a satellite settlement will be found at Thiera off Greek/ Sicilian coast. there are all kinds of pottery etc. that can be seen w/naked eye w/o digging there. imagine whats buried! pottery has been dated to the correct time scale. government will not alow recovery though.
