prussian blue is also used as test for cyanide.
Fred A. Leuchter wa hired by Ernst Zündeltested to test the walls at Auschwitz and Birkenau for cyanide residue from Zyklon B (which contains hydrocyanic acid). his tests showed no signs of cyanide, he concluded that they were not gas chambers.
later, more modern tests have proven that they were used as gas chambers
