True. World War II was 100% legit. The Korean War was semi-legit. Somewhere around Vietnam was where bad politics (both sides but mostly Republican with each succeeding generation) and misplaced ideology started having bastard stepchildren and leaving them at the American public's door.
Vigililance is the eternal price of not wasting the lives we are blessed with as well as the cost of freedom.

It's hard fucking work not letting unquenchable greed piss in the water so much you can't tell the difference anymore.
