I owned 2 great old MOPARs FD. Had a 69 Satellite w/383 & a 69 Dart w/an HO 340 - 4 barrel.

The Dart was my fave. Bought it in like 78 w/102k on the odoclock & top ended a new Vette from about a 70mph roll out on I-20 the day I bought it! That was an awesome car straight from the factory!! I just kept it bone stock, didn know anything about moddin in those days.

Damned speedo didn work worth a shit so I'll never know what it actually did on the top end but I know I walked away from a buddy of mines big block Trans Am on the highway. He said he gave up at 135mph & the ole Dart was still pullin strong as I faded into the distance headed towards Cedar Hill on Hwy 67 !:>winking smiley

All the nostalgia's great but the AWD turbo 4 bangers I play with these days will run 170+mph and hit it in just about a mile or less ; >winking smiley
