Problee just a point of perspective thing Tiw. Since I was a teenager in '69 these cars were what was "the shit" on the streets in that time. There were tons of big block gas guzzlers cruisin the streets in those days at a whopping 8 or so mpg. 'Course gas was only like 30 cents a gallon at the time too.

At that point in time it was fairly rare to see a european car other than a VW and the invasion of Japanese cars to America had yet to have occured. That meant cars like these Fossil posted were the Kings of the street back then.

In those days most Cop cars were commonly factory hot rods with few amenities. In the suburb I went to school in the Police had Chrysler 426 hemi powered Plymouth Furys. I saw 2 of 'em chase down a big block powered 'Cuda one night.
