AnonymousCoward92111, it is very easy to pretend to be generous when you are large, but generosity is only relative to what you have to offer. Being large but only giving a very small percentage is not generous. It is tight arse.

And the US was not even the most giving even in terms of toals dollars. From the link above ...

So why don't you do a bit of reading and learning before shouting your mouth off, because it is just embarrassing.

Even the Poms gave .48% of their income as aid. Well, if you Americans at .22% feel that you are so poor that you can't even match the generosity of the UK, well you have my sympathy.
