Right or left while looking at the top or the bottom?
That's why with a circular spinning object you have to ask "clockwise or counterclockwise?" so people have a consistant reference.
At first I thought it might be one of those optical illusion things but it didn't take me long to realize it spins in one direction, then reverses and spins in the other. It's a pretty smooth transition but not smooth enough not to see when it is making the change.
