this pic is not the child in the story but...
i'm sending this to everyone i can think of to hopefully avoid another terrible tragedy such as this.
my beast friens 5 year old son was at a party friday night for his end of the year flag football team. he was sliding down the slide and went directly to the bottom of the pool. all the other children thought that he was playing a joke, but when he floated to the top face down the kids started screaming. the parents had gone inside for just a few minutes and heard the kids. he was careflighted to the hospital but had no brain signs at all. they pulled the plug on him saturday around 1:00 p.m.
i'm passing this along to highten the awareness for people to NEVER take your eyes off your kids because i don't want anyone to ever have to experience this grief.
as i type this i'm crying my eyes out.
