They love them sooo much, then when they actually have to give of their selves, they just can't take it.
I've delivered into those places long ago, some of those old people are downright prisoners.... locked down. They would try to escape, teamwork even!
At least some of them may get a Christmas card and even fewer actually get a visit.....
It just shows the shallowness of people in general, they hide it all the time at any cost, but when it comes to this they say "FuckIt", people can see whats up, but, it's better than having to actually take care of those old people, too much work.
