I normally think Texans are the epitome of gun-toting lunatics but this story has made me think that there is an upside to that. I'm impressed that these people were tough enough to fight back and shoot back. I'm also impressed that the home owners probably won't be charged, even though they killed a man. If this happened in California then the surviving home invader would probably be suing the home owners for using excessive force.
