Beach front property on the Gulf of Mexico is nice but a very dumb idea unless you can afford to lose everything.

Something that really irritates me is when someone has the money to buy that really expensive property, build a really big, expensive house on it, and calls the cops every time someone even walks along the beach in front of it. Then, when it gets damaged by a storm, or just plain old every day beach erosion, they want the state to do something about it. Happens pretty often around here.
