$200 bail? Just a guess but if the tables were turned and men had been charged for a similar offense against a woman the bail wouldn't have been that low. The law is typically skewed pretty severely when applied toward women vs. the same or similar crimes regarding men as the perpetrators.

Try researching domestic violence cases where men are the victims. What you'll find first is men tend to not even call the cops when a woman physically or mentally abuses them (shame is a powerful weapon) and that officers are often hesitant to even make an arrest against a woman for such an allegation, the resultant fines/jail time/etc. will also be less IF they are ever taken to court, much less convicted at all.

When researching such a topic what you'll also find is most all studies on domestic violence/abuse are funded by womens rights groups who will also attempt to disparage or mute the evidence regarding statistics of women on men violence .. can you say AGENDA .

If you dig deeply enough your research will reveal domestic abuse cases perpetrated by women against men are much more common than one might think and at least as high as men on women cases, except that men just simply choose to either overlook themselves as actually having been abused or refuse to make such charges against their mates at all. The whole "I'm a victim" mentality isn't nearly as strong in men as it is in women.
