there was one in the Dallas aquarium for like 45 years that died a year or 2 ago. i think he was like 60+ years old. that sucker was a solid 6 foot long nose to tail and close to 3-3 1/2 feet around. they have a lot smaller one now that's 70 years old but only weighs 175 lbs.
