when my oldest son was about 15 he one day walked past the closed door of my roomate's (who I knew was a long time pot smoker) then came over to me and whispered, "Dad, I think Mike's smoking pot in there." I just asked the kid how he knew what pot smelled like and I never received a reply or heard another word about it.
