A free and adversarial press is necessary in our democracy but what most the media has forgotten is that they need to be accurate and truthful. Now most the media don't seem to care if the "facts" they report on are real or not as long as those "facts" support their stance and that is not good for anyone or the country. Too many people in the world believe the media is still truthful and unbiased like they used to be in the long gone past but they are not. back in the old days the media consisted of only news papers and reporters back in the day had to get their stories right and had to have corroboration for their facts. Now the media consist of many more outlets and integrity has been thrown out the window.
