Always enjoyed my trips there for work. Lotsa great eateries, even some great Mescan food and a nightlife scene that's hot w/lotsa good live jazz and R&R.
'Course the $8 a pack for cigs (read MASSIVE taxation when they were only $2 in Texas at the time) nearly 20yrs ago was a drag and don't even get me started on their draconian gun laws, which seem odd relative to them being in the top 5 cities for gun crimes and all
