The peppy lil 1.6l DOHC engine in it was years ahead of its time, had a funky hand shaped distributor cap with a set of dual points in it which were engine temperature actuated with one set retarded so it started on the coldest day as if it was summer and then seemlessly switched over to the other set once the engine temp warmed up, had some of the most comfortable low back bucket seats I ever sat in, cornered well, handled well and was a really dependable ride for all the years I owned it
