During WWII all the sacrifices made by civilians were not voluntary but they had to live with it and they didn't live with it quietly. During the swine flu masks were not worn around the nation by everyone nor were they mandated. During my 69 years there were many virus outbreaks and we were never required to wear masks. This virus is no worse than anything in the past and now we are being required to wear masks as a "temporary" measure. We now have a vaccine and it is being advised to continue wearing a mask and social distancing after getting vaccinated. How long is temporary?
